THE Siwak is a natural root of the Salvadora persica tree, used for centuries as a toothbrush in Muslim and Arab cultures.. This plant grows mainly in arid areas of the Middle East and South Asia. The roots of the plant are picked, cleaned, dried, cut into pieces and peeled to obtain a natural toothbrush. Siwak is considered a healthy and natural alternative to commercial toothbrushes. It contains antibacterial and antifungal properties who help to clean teeth and eliminate bad breath. It is also rich in minerals such as calcium, fluoride and vitamin C, which are beneficial for the health of teeth and gums. The siwak is easy to use and is often used before prayers or after meals to maintain optimal oral hygiene.
