The Agal, also called iqal, is a black woven hoop used to hold the keffiyeh, shemagh and ghutra on the head.
The agal is a very popular accessory among Muslim men in the Middle East, especially in Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates. In addition to giving a majestic style, its main objective is to maintain the keffiyeh for greater comfort.
