1. Hot press personalization

This is the most common method in the textile industry, particularly for prayer rugs, due to its accessibility and low cost. Using cutting software, we cut out an iron-on transfer with your name or a chosen design, then attach it to the rug using a heat press. The material is thus embedded in the prayer rug for an aesthetically pleasing finish.

Personalized prayer mat:

This technique is exclusively reserved for prayer rugs, as it does not offer sufficient resistance for clothing, which is washed more frequently.

Advantage: an aesthetic result, an affordable price and a wide choice of colors with a glitter effect.
Disadvantage: limited durability over time and widespread technology; it is possible that the person has already received this type of gift.

The major drawback of this technique is its poor durability. We have perfected this process by investing in an industrial heat press, offering perfect pressing and enhanced adhesion. We have also researched and selected the ideal heat-sealable material, capable of adhering perfectly to the texture of our prayer rugs, thus further increasing their durability. The result: a personalized prayer rug with superior quality and significantly longer-lasting wear.

2. Embroidery personalization

Embroidery is one of the most difficult techniques to master, and the high cost of professional machines makes it even more exclusive. We program your first name or initials using dedicated software, then the fabric is placed on the embroidery machine, which executes the work with high precision.

Available media

Prayer mat: name discreetly embroidered on the side, to avoid any distraction during the salat.
Qamis: initials or first name embroidered on the sleeve, for an elegant, discreet and high-end look.
Advantage: a premium and refined finish, textured to the touch, exceptional durability even after many washes.
Disadvantage: higher cost and more limited choice of colours.

3. Laser engraving personalization

Inspired by techniques used in Mecca, laser engraving allows you to directly engrave your name into the material of the prayer rug. The laser precisely burns the fabric to create raised lettering.

Personalized prayer mat:
Two finishes are possible:

Raw engraving: only the relief of the personalization created by the laser engraving will be visible.
Hand-gilded engraving: the relief will be hand-gilded, reminiscent of the gilded calligraphy on the carpets of Mecca.
Advantage: a sophisticated and unique result, reviving memories for those who have had the chance to visit Mecca.
Disadvantage: higher cost, limited choice of raw or gold finishes.
